Job Description

GDIT is activity recruiting to support Hosting, Operations and Maintenance (HOM) services for our Healthcare Integrated General Ledger Accounting System (HIGLAS) program with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

GDIT is looking for business subject matter expert who understands CMS business processes and systems to provide functional and financial reconciliation support to ensure top quality products are delivered to the customer.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a top-notch functional expert supporting one or more clients and user groups.
  • Analyzes current business processes, determining the scope and estimates for proposed enhancements or application upgrades
  • Expertise in Oracle EBS financial modules – AR, AP, GL, PO and ability to adapt to customizations
  • Provide subject matter expertise to review and guide the team for all business solutions in EBS system
  • Coordinates and manage the life cycle of the enhancement from requirement gathering to being deployed into Production
  • Adept with Agile practices and must collaboratively work in a team environment
  • Assist in reconciling General Ledger (GL) to subsystem data weekly throughout the month and daily during month-end closings. Provide documentation, distribute, and warehouse such data for subsequent review or audit.
  • Perform daily financial integrity checks and queries to identify, investigate, and report variances and issues.
  • Investigate reconciliation issues and variances and prepare corrective action documentation or log service requests or incidents to resolve the issue.
  • Support internal and external audit requests (including providing data extracts as needed).
  • Drive resolution of production incidents through analysis and coordination with multiple teams
  • Guide problem management activities and work with different teams to create fixes based on the root cause analysis
  • Performs business development activities, including providing technical solutions.
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations to various stake holders including the customer and end user community

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent and 8+ years of Oracle EBS financial reconciliation experience, or Masters degree and 6+ years experience as described above.
  • Working experience with Oracle EBS / Oracle Federal Financials: GL, AP, AR, PO
  • Knowledge of basic Oracle SQL / PL-SQL – ability to write simple queries using TOAD
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools

Preferred experience

  • HIGLAS knowledge is preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle USSGL Accounting is a plus
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Tool is a plus
  • Knowledge of Gitlab and Config Snapshot is preferred
  • Experience in a Federal environment, strongly preferred

LOCATION: Remote with occasional travel required for onsite meetings (approx once per month). Candidates in the DMV area strongly preferred.

CLEARANCE:

Ability to obtain a Public Trust: candidate must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years and pass a public trust background investigation.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $127,254 - $170,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
