Job Description

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges.  ATGPAC’s Battlelab Support team is seeking an Air Intercept Controller (AIC) to support this vital program with positions available in San Diego, CA.

The Battlelab team shall provide technical, tactical, and administrative support to provide FBP, FST-U, STW and BMD distributed training to ships and provide feedback to ATGSD, ATGPNW, and ATGMP.

Duties include:

The contractor will schedule monthly Fleet AIC training to include ATGSD, ATGPNW, and ATGMP areas of operations.  He/she contractor shall configure and operate appropriate C2 systems including voice reports, simulated or real radios, and chat reports via naval systems such as MS-Chat.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance required.

  • Must have 5 years of ship Combat Systems experience with configuration, operation, maintenance, and repair.

  • Preferred current Level 5 Air Controller U.S. NAVY NEC W20A.

  • Must have 2 years scenario development/training experience and configuration and operation experience with Joint Semi Automated Forces (JSAF) and Tactical Voice/Data Communications.

  • Must have experience in naval warfare operations or conducting training for naval warfare or equivalent joint experience.

  • Must have 5 years operational experience in Air Warfare.

  • Must have 5 years experience in Tactical Data Links

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $90,495 - $122,435. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
