Job Description

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as an Operations Sr. Manager supporting Growth for the Intelligence and Homeland Security Division in GDIT. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an Operations Sr. Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Intelligence Community and the Department of Homeland Security. You will play a crucial role as the heartbeat of the Growth team ensuring processes, resources, tools, budgets, and more align with the strategic goals of the organization.

  • Lead IHS Growth Operations; Manage day-to-day business processes for team supporting a $50B pipeline; Create business strategies to ensure smooth functioning of the Growth organization; Create/draft illustrative PowerPoint decks for IHS and GDIT executive consumption; Manage new business funds budget process, communications, analysis, and reporting; Build and manage overhead budget; Draft and manage IHS Growth executive communications; Manage reporting cadence, pipeline, tools, automation, and AI reporting metrics; Manage critical schedule and planning projects.
  • Collaborate closely with VP of Growth and Growth leadership team ensuring team cohesion, professionalism, and transparency; Communicate with executive leadership, customers, external and internal stakeholders, and individual contributors; Champion change management, technology adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive efficiencies within processes and selection of tools; Recommend innovations leading to higher quality outcomes, more effective processes and tools, as well as increased efficiencies; Solve problems for the team as they arise; Keep current with business and technology trends to forecast needed organizational changes and adaptations over time.
  • Utilize technology platforms, applications, and tools including Salesforce, Tableau, PowerBI, PowerPoint, ChatGPT, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and other visualization, graphic, automation, and AI tools.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your Growth expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Operations Sr. Manager must have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years’ experience of related experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • Technical skills: Salesforce, PowerPoint, visualization tools, automation and AI tools
  • Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
  • US citizenship required
  • Location: This position requires working fully onsite at our GDIT facility in Herndon, VA. Must be comfortable working onsite (5) days a week.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $147,050 - $198,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
