Business Administrator

Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Business Administrator at GDIT. Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business.

HOW A BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Performs non-routine administrative and analytical tasks in one or more business support functions within the organization
● Daily interaction with multiple team members on the phone, conference calls and e-mails at a very high volume
● This is a team of very experienced professionals, and we operate at a very high level and have to be a motivated employee that wants to learn and ask questions and get better every single day
● Support all field personnel so they have what they need to be saucerful in their mission as they are working all over the US in various locations and the number one job is to make sure you are supporting them
●We are always looking to get more efficient as a team and we use all the latest technology on databases of phones and computers and AI to keep getting better every single day

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Computer and database tracking. Good with computer and Microsoft Office

● Security Clearance Level: None
● Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to Multitask, Communicate, handle high volume of e-mails and conference calls. Need to be a self-motivated employee that wants to learn and ask questions and get better every single day
● Location: Hybrid in the office but can work from home percentage of the time

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project schedules and reports
  • Maintain various databases
  • Facilitate office logistics and procurement of various office items:
    • Computers
    • Phones
    • Office Supplies and Equipment
  • Assist in the sub-contractor procurement process by initiating purchase requests and tracking approval flows
  • May include some basic book-keeping / cost accounting activities

Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate significant expertise and/or proficiency with various computer software programs and the ability to effectively us a computer:

  • MS Word
  • MS Excel
  • MS PowerPoint
  • MS Access (Preferred)
  • Primavera (Preferred)

Desire at least 2-5 years of relevant experience.  Previous experience as part of telecommunications project team or construction team preferred.  BA degree desired.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $54,704 - $70,150. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
