Our work depends on a Network Administrator joining our team to maintain our customer's multi-faceted network, as well as collaborate with our network team and the customer on the development of new requirements.
HOW A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
● Manage the functionality and efficiency of computer networks (LAN/WAN). Monitor data traffic/network performance and controls network resources to ensure reliable transmission. Troubleshoot and resolve network problems.
● Maintain documentation for network infrastructure, to include topology and configuration data.
● Display a comprehensive understanding of communication and routing protocols to include, but not limited to TCP/IP, BGP and EIGRP.
● Perform maintenance and upgrade of networks including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and remote access systems
● Working knowledge of High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE) devices.
● Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS, etc.)
● Knowledge, eagerness, and adaptability to address a wide scope of network issues, from clearing port security to aiding and driving the development of new networks and networking practices.
● Interface with internal and external IT teams and agencies to maintain and troubleshoot existing infrastructure, as well as build anew.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience and the required Security + and CCNA certs
● Required Experience: 2+ years of experience in Network Administration.
● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance
● Required Skills and Abilities: Leadership, Communication (written and verbal) and problem solving.
● Preferred Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in a IT related field, ITIL v4, CCNP, CASP + or higher level certification(s)
● Location: On Customer Site in Newington, VA
● Travel: 25%
● US Citizenship Required due to TS/SCI clearance requirement

The likely salary range for this position is $99,450 - $134,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
