HOW A IT System Monitoring ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Monitoring and analyzing system performance, network integrity, and operational infrastructures
• Identifying potential issues and implementing preventative measures
• Develop, maintain, and provision operational reports and dashboards that provide status of operational activities, production issues and key operational metrics
• Creates data models that depict trends in the organization and its business processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Oversee and maintain network security
• Compile and analyze data to identify trends and improve system performance
• Perform regular system audits
• Work closely with technical staff to ensure system efficiency
• Document issues and solutions for future reference
• Conducting regular inspections, maintenance, and testing of systems to ensure optimal performance
• Generating and presenting reports on system performance, problems, and resolutions
• Collaborating with other team members to identify and implement system improvements
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users
• Ensuring adherence to data management and security protocols
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system monitoring
• Training staff in new technologies and systems monitoring procedures

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of IT Operations support experience
• Proven work experience working in IT Operations and/or infrastructure support
• Experience working with industry leading infrastructure monitoring tools
• Excellent knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Understanding of system security and data backup
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies
• BSc degree in Computer Science, IT or relevant field
•  Location: Albuquerque, NM or Germantown, MD
