Job Description

Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Program Manager in support of the Federal Judiciary enterprise information technology (IT) infrastructure, mission-critical applications, and customer support functions, while delivering public internet and public cloud connectivity, national wide-area network and telephony infrastructure services delivery. The program is responsible for the architecture, design, engineering, maintenance, monitoring, security, and support of the agency’s voice, data, and video communications network infrastructure. 

 

HOW A Program Manager WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:  

  • The GDIT Program Manager shall have full authority to commit labor force and other required resources to meet the overall requirements in support of the program 

  • Develop, execute, and maintain project charters, project management plans, direct and manage project work, monitor and control project work, perform integrated change control, and close projects 

  • Develop, execute, and maintain scope management activities, collection of requirements, scope definition, validation of scope and scope control 

  • Develop, execute, and maintain schedule management activities, to include development of work breakdown structures, sequencing of activities, estimating activity resources, estimating activity durations, developing schedules, and controlling schedules 

  • Develop and deliver cost estimates as part of each project identifying operations and maintenance chargeback costs associated with the programs operational support of nationally onboarded services. 

  • Plan, manage, develop, execute, and maintain a communications management plan 

  • Develop, execute, and maintain a risk management plan, including the identification of risk, performance of qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, plan risk responses, and control risk 

  • Develop, execute, and maintain a stakeholder management plan, including identifying stakeholders, manage stakeholder engagements and control stakeholder engagements. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:   

Education:  

  • Master’s Degree and 8 years of experience, Computer Science or related field preferred  

  • Or Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of experience, Computer Science or related field preferred  

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 

Required Experience:  

  • Minimum 8 years of program/task management 

  • Experience managing programs or task orders supporting network infrastructure environments for large federal agencies 

  • Experience in planning, managing and providing guidance pertaining to IT environments 

  • Experience with and accountability for the technical correctness, timeliness and quality of deliverables, and the implementation and measurement of corporate and client quality standards and methodologies 

  • ITIL and/or AGILE certification(s) preferred 

 

Security Clearance Level:  

  • Must possess or ability to obtain Public Trust for US Courts 

 

Location: 

  • Washington, DC or San Antonio, TX

  • This is a contingent job posting, with work expected to begin in March or April of 2026.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $133,369 - $180,441. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
