Job Description

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges.  ATGPAC’s Battlelab Support team is seeking a BMD experienced RSC to support this vital program with positions available in San Diego, CA.

The Battlelab team shall provide technical, tactical, and administrative support to provide FBP, FST-U, STW and BMD distributed training to ships and provide feedback to ATGSD, ATGPNW, and ATGMP.

Duties include:

The contractor shall provide tactical and system guidance during FBP, FST-U, STW and BMD distributed event execution. The contractor shall observe FBP, FST-U, STW and BMD distributed training events, provide verbal feedback on watch stander progress and recommend

changes to accomplish training objectives, during the scenario or during the post brief via voice circuits. The contractor shall provide assessments of watch stander performance to ATGSD assessor/trainers for formal debrief and inclusion in the End of Mission Reports (EOMR).

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance required.

  • Capable of developing and employing Aegis BMD Radar doctrine

  • Six (6) years experience conducting shipboard BMD watch-team training or recent in-depth experience conducting BMD exercises, training or operations

  • Must have scenario development/training/operation experience with Joint Semi Automated Forces (JSAF); Multi-System Automated Remote-Control Interface (MARCI).

  • Qualified as an RSC on an Aegis BMD or equivalent platform

  • Instructor/trainer or operational experience on a BMD configured Aegis ship or BMD command/agency

  • Completed BMD deployment certification training

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $90,495 - $122,435. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
