Systems Engineer Advisor

•    Install, configure, and manage a highly available and scalable virtual cloud foundation and infrastructure.

•    Provide planning, installing, configuring, and upgrading support for vSphere, Aria and VCF systems and appliances using either version 8.x or greater.

•    Manage and allocate virtual hardware to virtual machines including right-sizing CPU, memory, and storage.

•    Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure seamless operations.

•    Develop plans for configuring, deploying, administering and documenting Virtual Applications or appliances and infrastructure.

•    Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure seamless operations, DoD Compliance, and documentation of virtualized environment.

•    Establish and maintain service levels; perform troubleshooting, monitoring of vSphere and Virtual Cloud implementations 

•    Apply/implement IAVMs, STIGs, bug fixes, security patches/controls, and access controls across multiple platforms.

•    Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BA/BS or equivalent experience
● Required Experience: 5 – 8 years of experience in information technology field
● Qualifications/Certifications: DoD 8570.1-M certification: IAT Level III
● Computing Environment Certification: VCP-DCV or higher, VCP-VCF preferred.
● Required Technical Skills: Provide planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to the ADCNOMS project on Virtual platform, Virtual OS, Virtual application VMware Hypervisor, Virtual storage.
● Security Clearance Level: Secret
● Required Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft Visio
● Preferred Skills: VMware/Broadcom Virtualization knowledge.
● Location: Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
