Job Description

Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Program Manager in support a Federal agency’s Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) environment, including planning, policy, and architecture.

HOW A Program Manager WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: 

  • The GDIT Program Manager shall have full authority to commit labor force and other required resources to meet the overall requirements in support of the program.
  • Institute and maintain a process that ensures problems and action items discussed with the Government are tracked through resolution and provide timely status reporting
  • Develop, deliver and maintain Project Management Plan and Integrated Master Schedule
  • Provide monthly Program Status Report (PSR) on the activities and milestones completed and deliverables submitted for each task for the past month
  • Track and communicate information related to unresolved issues as well as their status and actions taken
  • Performing risk management activities, to include providing mitigation strategies
  • Evaluating and establishing ICAM program governance and stakeholder engagement mechanisms
  • Communicate and coordinate with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Owner (ISO) regarding system changes as part of the Change and Configuration Management Process
  • Ensure IT Assets remain compliant with Identity & Access Control Management (ICAM) policy
  • Know and participate in security compliance efforts that will be assessed and validated by the Government IAW DoDI 8510.01 and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800.53, Revision 4, and NIST 800-53A, Revision 4.

Education:

  • Master’s Degree and 7 years of experience, Computer Science or related field (preferred)  
  • Alternatively, a BA/BS in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science and 10 years of experience

Required Experience:

  • 5 years of experience managing Programs or comparable teams, preferably in a federal government contracting environment.
  • Experience coordinating the efforts of subcontractors/vendors, and team members
  • Experience in planning, implementing, managing and providing guidance pertaining to IT ICAM and Zero Trust environments
  • Experience with and accountability for the technical correctness, timeliness and quality of deliverables, and the implementation and measurement of corporate and client quality standards and methodologies 
  • Experience with managing Cloud integration efforts
  • Experience with managing Identity Management integration/transition efforts
  • Experience with Zero Trust solutions
  • Familiarity with current NIST security access controls and the application at an enterprise level.
  • Experience with identity policies, guidance, and technical implementations
  • Experience with using agile methods and scrum process
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • An IAT II certification (CISM, CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) or similar related certification is preferred
  • ITIL and/or AGILE certification(s) preferred

  • Hybrid, based in Washington, DC or San Antonio, TX

Timeline: This role is being posted contingent on award of contract, expected to begin November or December, 2025.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $133,369 - $180,441. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
