Job Description

Our work depends on a software tester joining our team to support our software development and support contract. This a REMOTE BASED ROLE.  Candidate must live in the US.

At GDIT, we put our people first. As a Business Analyst supporting Indian Health Services you will be trusted to work with clinicians, developers, and federal staff to market and demonstrate the usability of IHS’ Interoperability tools.

How You will Make an Impact:

  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and healthcare regulations
  • Work with multiple teams to document business requirements for healthcare-related marketing initiatives
  • Lead onboarding of new users and sites/facilities to the system applications
  • Evaluate effectiveness of healthcare campaigns and contribute to the development of marketing plans in adherence to government healthcare policies
  • Train the user population, including end users, liaison staff, and supervisors on the current applications
  • Maintain relevance of training materials
  • Facilitate communication and support for office hours, addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and guiding users
  • Assist in promoting user adoption and engagement by ensuring coordination between various teams
  • Collaborate with data analysts to extract insights to support evidence-based decisions
  • Participates in special projects as required
  • Opportunity to work from home with a geographically dispersed team
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Must reside in the U.S.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • This position requires 2+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on marketing within the healthcare sector
  • Experience with Health IT, EHR systems, and Meaningful Use
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, government projects, and marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team with adjusting priorities and deadlines
  • Understanding of Agile processes
  • Proven ability to work on a remote/distributed team

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with the Indian Health Service RPMS and/or Veterans Administration EHR systems
  • Expertise in using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server and/or Azure DevOps

Location: Remote within the USA

Clearance Level: Requires the ability to pass an IHS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years in order to obtain an appropriate level Public Trust clearance.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
