Our work depends on this role to serve as the primary point-of-contact to the Program Manager (and at times the Government) for all endpoint engineering support-related needs. This role will manage a team that supports the endpoint engineering tasks of a complete spectrum of IT engineering projects, platforms, and services, including infrastructure, endpoint, security, and network services.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Overseeing and executing of endpoint engineering planning, analysis, requirements definition, and documentation
Managing Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) tools, Crowdstrike, and Palo Alto alongside federal staff
Leading the endpoint engineering team, ensuring image builds, integrations and testing, patch management, desktop virtualization engineering, and research/technology innovation tasks are performed according to expectations and in alignment with HHS standards
Developing and maintaining endpoint engineering documents including technical plans detailing how endpoint engineering is performed, scheduled, how resource allocations are planned, and any related monitoring/controlling processes
Leading the delivery of Tier 3 engineering support for endpoint images in coordination with the customer’s Service Desk, using Government furnished Service Management System and standard escalation procedures where applicable
Ensure the Endpoint engineering team follows all existing SOPs, makes updates following applicable change control processes, and leading the development of new SOPs as needed
Providing recommendations for new or enhanced endpoint solutions, alongside the technical team, based on market research and planning and analysis results
Compliance with HHS EPLC requirements and guidelines
Conducting regular planning for technology refreshes and upgrades per HHS refresh requirements and schedules
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Required Experience: 10+ total years of related experience
5+ years in a lead endpoint engineering role
3+ years managing technical staff
Demonstrated expertise in and the ability to manage technical staff working in (or equivalent experience):
Endpoint image build support
Endpoint integration and testing
Desktop virtualization engineering
Endpoint research and related technology innovation
Print services engineering
Ability to report onsite in Rockville, MD and Washington, DC to client locations
Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
- US Citizenship or US Persons required
- Must have been in the US for at least 3 out of the last 5 years.
Preferred:
Experience supporting large-scale federal IT infrastructure experience (15K+ endpoints) is highly desired
Familiarity with Federal Security mandates (e.g., FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP)
Work Location: This position will be located on client sites located in Rockville, MD and Washington, DC and you must be willing and able to work at both locations as needed.

The likely salary range for this position is $147,900 - $200,100. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
