At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Website Content Curator, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Farsi Website Content Curator joining our team to manage and edit content for a platform within an internet-based program in Tampa, Florida.

HOW A WEBSITE CONTENT CURATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Researches local and regional media to identify coverage angles and screen content nominations
  • Curate and prepare articles for web publication, ensuring high editorial quality by following internal content guidelines 
  • Maintain consistency and cultural relevance across all curated content
  • Apply digital publishing best practices to improve formatting, readability, and content discoverability
  • Review and refine translated content to ensure a natural, accurate, and engaging reading experience
  • Uphold the overall content strategy by maintaining alignment with brand guidelines
  • Manage advertising and marketing on multiple internet-based platforms

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience required Journalism experience, including experience writing or editing for internet-based or print news publications is highly preferred. Knowledge of the region and regional issues is required. Familiarity with digital publishing platforms and content management systems (CMS) like WordPress. Experience working with multilingual websites and/or platforms 
  • Security clearance level: Active DoD Secret clearance required (minimum); accepted candidates will be submitted for TS/SCI.
  • Skills and abilities: Ability to work nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time may be required. Understanding of SEO principles and execution strategies. Awareness of organic and paid marketing channels/strategies (content marketing, email marketing, social media, and search engine marketing). Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and processes, and adapt to evolving requirements. Native-level fluency in Farsi and excellent English. Select candidates will be language tested.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $82,450 - $111,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
