Job Description

As a CTO Cyber Capability Team Lead, you will support the business strategy that helps ensure that today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Solution Senior Director joining our team to lead a team focused on leading Cyber and Zero Trust Solutioning and Delivery efforts across the Defense portfolio that bring our customers’ requirements to life in innovative solutions.  

HOW WILL A CTO Cyber Capability Team Lead MAKE AN IMPACT? 

  • Harness your technical domain knowledge in Cyber Security, Zero Trust, IT infrastructure and Edge solutions to enrich a rapidly growing technical enterprise.
  • Assess strategic and emerging tech vendors capabilities and develop a market point of view that informs GDITs broad technical offerings that are tailored to the Defense Marketplace
  • Drive successful customer engagements in cyber security and zero trust, creating new opportunities for the business.
  • Bring Leadership and Vision to IRAD efforts within cyber technical domain for the Defense Marketplace.
  • Lead and Coach a diverse team focused on full lifecycle solutioning and delivery efforts that assess, solution, and implement technical modernization capabilities that align to our customers’ unique requirements
  • Be the voice of the cyber technology domain in our solutions, driving alignment of technology to requirements and present compelling and compliant proposed solutions.
  • Provide the talent to augment strategic program delivery efforts, develop specific action plans to deliver modernization outcomes such as local talent upskilling, practice maturation and tailoring, and technical insertion within our delivery environments.
  • Build a technical community of experts across the business to collaborate, innovate, and drive successful technical outcomes in the cyber, edge, and ZT domains with SMEs that hone our practices, technology, and enable digital modernization outcomes
  • Partner with other offering owners from across GDIT and integrate capabilities to create compelling solutions for our customers. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Batchelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business-related field or equivalent experience
  • Required Experience: 15 years of progressive technical and team leadership experience with cyber, zero trust, infrastructure, and edge computing technologies in both selling and delivery contexts.
  • Preferred Experience: 20 years+ of demonstrated leadership experience supervising and coaching employees on highly performing technical teams that deliver in a dynamic selling and delivery environment
  • Security Clearance Level: SECRET required with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical, time management and organizational discipline to drive highly technical teams in a rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience working with Government Customers, specifically the US Military. 
  • Location: Falls Church, VA (Hybrid) 
  • Travel: 25% travel expected

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $211,245 - $258,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
