We think. We act. We deliver. There is no challenge we can’t turn into opportunity. Our work depends on a Sr. Healthcare Business Administrator joining our team to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) activities.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Sr. Healthcare Business Administrator, you will be trusted to work on supporting in-person assisters with technical support services that enhance assisters’ knowledge and skills so they can facilitate enrollment in insurance coverage, Medicaid, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Work independently to research, craft, and standardize written responses to complex inquiries.
  • Communicate complex policy information clearly and in a well-organized manner.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to document inquiry responses for ongoing regulatory changes that affect in-person assisters and health care consumers with a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
  • Proofread responses to ensure consistency with internal standards.
  • Review other team member’s inquiry responses for quality and accuracy of response, format, and grammar.
  • Participate in client meetings and document notes in a clear and concise manner.
  • Analyze training needs and clearly define work products needed for all applicable team roles.
  • Create internal and external training materials including: desk guides, quick reference guides, job aids, and wall hangers.
  • Facilitate internal and external training presentations by demonstrating knowledge of technical processes, workflows, and answering questions from participants clearly and concisely.
  • Review training materials and modify to meet CMS Section 508 compliance.
  • May provide mentorship to more jr team members and may function as back-up to lead as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years prior, relevant full-time work experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Sound analytic, problem solving, and qualitative skills with advanced research skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of health care policy issues related to implementation of the ACA, HealthCare.gov and Federally Facilitated Marketplace operations.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
  • Work visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
