Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in System/Software Engineering and Mission Planning to lead a large Systems Engineering Contract for the Department of Defense.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the execution of a complex systems engineering contract, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of high-quality products and services
Develop and maintain strong relationships with DoD stakeholders, including program managers, engineers, and logistics personnel
Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of systems engineers, software developers, and mission planning specialists
Coordinate and integrate the work of multiple subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless execution of contract requirements
Develop and manage project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget forecasts
Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and DoD policies and procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field)
Minimum 10 years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or mission planning, with at least 5 years of experience in a program management role
PMP certification or equivalent
TS clearance - SCI eligible
Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex contracts or programs
Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes and procedures
Experience with running Agile software projects and DevSecOps practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field)
Experience with DoD systems engineering and acquisition processes, including the Defense Acquisition System and the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)Familiarity with ITAR and export control regulations
Experience with cloud-based technologies and cybersecurity best practices
10 + years of related experience

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
