JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for interacting with customers to handle escalation service inquiries and problems with the eGrants\eSpan system. Duties may include examining customer problems, walking members through corrections or missing information on form submissions and implementing appropriate corrective action to rectify grant conflicts\problems.
IMPACT: Works to achieve day-to-day objectives that consist of non-routine activities and have significant impact on the work output. Works independently under limited supervision. Mostly work with the general public\grant applicants.
COMPLEXITY: Solves unclear problems and issues in gran applications, which may require some analysis to understand and resolve. May be required to use discretion within the normal operating procedure to solve problems or improve the effectiveness. If necessary, escalate application issues to developers.
COMMUNICATION: Contact members, applicants, grantees or grantors to assist with grant processing or extensions.
LEADERSHIP & TALENT MANAGEMENT: KNOWLEDGE: Tech needs to have a basic understanding of all aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered. eGrants\eSpan training will be provided during 90 day trial period.
TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Job requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience (ex. data entry, data processing, SQL experience).
Ability to work M-F shift and cover from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm EST

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $21.13 - $28.59. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
