Job Description

Keep GDIT at the forefront of emerging technology that will impact and benefit our customers’ missions. Help infuse emerging technology into the successful delivery of our growth strategies and pursuits.

HOW AN EMERGING TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS ARCHTTECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Conduct research and horizon scanning across the emerging technology landscape to find strategic intersections and opportunities in GDIT markets
  • Monitor, assess, and synthesize trends from a variety of sources to inform strategy and drive actionable innovation opportunities
  • Develop technology market analysis and provide thought leadership to shape client discussions and build organizational awareness and readiness in emerging technology areas
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the operational, regulatory, procurement, and competitive environments of federal agencies
  • Build relationships with emerging technology providers and introduce them to GDIT growth and delivery leaders
  • Work with senior leaders to understand, adopt, and compete in emerging technology domains
  • Collaborate with GDIT teams to introduce and help integrate emerging technologies into growth strategies and pursuits, current customer contracts, and portfolio of technology offerings in alignment with customer missions and technical requirements
  • Represent GDIT at industry and customer events and in marketing and media.
  • Work within an Emerging Tech team engaged across GDIT’s business development and program portfolios

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Required Experience: 15+ years of Information Technology in Cloud, Software Development, Enterprise IT, Edge/IoT Deployments, Consulting, or related domain.
  • Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Expertise in performing IT modernization and/or implementation of frontier technologies for enterprise customers
    • Expertise in performing technology market and alternatives analysis
    • Expertise in IT architecture and technology solutions in one or more technology domains, including but not limited to Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Edge Computing, or Software Development.
    • Expertise in building and sustaining strategic relationships/partners with technology vendors
    • Broad understanding of information technology landscape, emerging trends (e.g., quantum, AI, edge deployments, advanced wireless), and dynamics that influence the customer markets
    • Expertise in technical writing, presentation writing, and proposal development
    • Expertise in consultative selling
    • Experience successfully collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
    • Experience engaging with senior technologists and business leaders.
    • Clearance: Ability to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance or higher
    • US Citizenship

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $195,500 - $264,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
