METRICS AND REPORTING ANALYST
GDIT has an opportunity for a dynamic and talented candidate to join our team as a Metrics and Reporting Analyst supporting the federal government in its modernization effort for their mission-critical operations.

Our work depends on a Metrics and Reporting Analyst joining our team to evolve IT Operations. As a Metrics and Reporting Analyst you will gather and analyze data, creating business intelligence solutions (dashboards, reports), tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), presenting findings, and collaborating with business stakeholders. You will serve as a critical team member to collect, prepare, and report on program achievements for C-suite level audiences.
● Strong analytical and communication skills, understanding of data modeling and KPIs, proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI) a plus. Must have the ability to translate technical findings/achievements for non-technical audiences, as well as self-motivated with strong presentation skills.
● Design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and scorecards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other BI platforms.
● Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define metrics and KPIs aligned with departmental and organizational goals.
● Collect, validate, and clean data from multiple sources such as service management systems (e.g., ServiceNow), databases, ERP platforms, and cloud services.
● Monitor trends and performance metrics to identify areas for operational improvement and recommend data-driven solutions.
● Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries and report definitions.
● Ensure reporting processes meet data governance and quality standards.
● Support periodic and ad-hoc reporting needs for audits, executive reviews, and compliance.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
● Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Ability to obtain and hold a clearance
● Effective administrative and organizational skills; Understanding of company strategic goals and how they align to business operations
● Preferred Skills I ServiceNow, ITIL v4, SLA/OLA management, Knowledge Management, Service Delivery, Continuous Service Improvement; Problem Management.

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
