HOW A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manages the functionality and efficiency of Mission IT networks (LAN).
  • Coordinate with COMM Network provider
  • Plans and executes Mission IT network upgrades and expansion to ensure optimal performance and capacity.
  • Monitors network performance and troubleshoots and resolves network problems to maintain operating efficiency and ensure quality transmission service on the network.
  • Uses subject matter expertise to diagnose and solve issues and has authority to deviate from standard operating procedures
  • Provides technical guidance to Mission IT staff and end users regarding network related issues.
  • Develops and implements network security policies and procedures to protect the organizations data and resources.
  • Configures and maintains network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls.
  • Provides network upgrades as required
  • Implements and manages security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and VPNs.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and privacy requirements.
  • Develops and maintains disaster recovery plans to ensure network resilience and continuity in case of emergencies.
  • Works closely with IA/ISSO to support ConMon and RMF processes
  • Coordinate with Network Vendors as part of tier 4 escalation
  • Participates in special projects as required.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree in technical STEM, or demonstrated equivalent operations experience. 
● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience executing mission systems experience
● Required Technical Skills:

  • Preferably experience with IC customer. 
  • Will need experience working with Senior level visibility customers.

● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with polygraph
● Location: On Customer Site
● US Citizenship Required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
