Our work depends on a Systems Administrator joining our team specializing in Monitoring Tools to support the CITS contract for USCENTCOM. The Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and management of monitoring and alerting tools across USCENTCOM’s IT infrastructure. This role ensures the continuous availability and performance of systems by proactively identifying issues, coordinating remediation efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain service quality in accordance with CITS and USCENTCOM standards.
HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Assist in the deployment of new monitoring tools and upgrades.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to monitoring and alerting processes.
Ensure compliance with DoD security and operational policies related to monitoring activities.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 1+ years of experience Education:
Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience as a Systems Administrator and experience specializing in monitoring tools.
Experience administering enterprise monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk, etc.).
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with network protocols and infrastructure components.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in team environments.
Required Certificate: Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification, Security + CE
Required Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance is required.
Location: On Customer Site at MacDill AFB-Tampa, FL.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with scripting or automation to enhance monitoring workflows.
Understanding of DoD cybersecurity requirements and compliance standards.
Prior experience supporting federal or military contracts.

The likely salary range for this position is $72,250 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
