Job Description

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR
 

Active Directory Systems Administrator on the GEF ITS contract supporting the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will support the design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to employ specified Nonsecure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), SECRET Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), and coalition network portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN). You will support NETCOM in applying architecture to the Army Enterprise Global Fabric (GEFS3) program at various life cycle stages.   The candidate will need to be fully cognizant of Windows Server, Systems Center, and Active Directory, Windows Server 2012/2016 technologies as well as industry best practice with regard to the implementation, deployment, compliance and maintenance of Active Directory solutions in a secure network environment. This position is in Fort Huachuca, Arizona.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
• Provide 24x7x365 operational support of Active Directory environment
• Responsible for building and maintaining an identity management solutions
• Provide support for Active Directory Federation Services solutions for applications
• Responsible for building and maintaining Active Directory infrastructure
• Ensure the security and compliance of the Active Directory environment
• Troubleshooting of Microsoft physical and VMware virtual environments
• Develop and troubleshoot Power CLI and PowerShell scripts Interface with database administrators and other IT professionals to coordinate installation and maintenance of client server applications to support enterprise line of business systems

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Project/Task Manager must have:
• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science preferred but not required 
• Certification: 1) Current Information Assurance (IA) certification (required at performance start date) one of the following: IAT Level II (Security+ CE, CAP, or GSLC); 2) Computing Environment certification i.e. Microsoft or related certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Experience: 3+ years of related/practical experience or 6 years of direct related experience
• Technical skills: Windows Server 2012-2022 technologies; compliance and maintenance of Active Directory solutions
• Security clearance level: Must have a Secret Clearance
• Role requirements: Fully cognizant of Windows Server, Systems Center, and Active Directory, Windows Server 2012/2016 technologies as well as industry best practice with regard to the implementation, deployment, compliance and maintenance of Active Directory solutions in a secure network environment.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
