Our work depends on an IT Services Consultant to build strategy, provide operational excellence, and help position GDIT as a strategic partner with the Department of Treasury, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and other Treasury Bureaus. As an IT Services Consultant, you will promote GDIT’s brand awareness, manage new programs, and position GDIT as a strategic delivery partner. The ideal candidate has relationships with key decision makers in the IRS CIO organization at the ACIO, Director and Senior Manager level as well as experience successfully managing major programs at the IRS. You will help the Federal Government meet emerging mission needs, provide leadership and foster a high performing team environment, help GDIT continue to grow and expand new business areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interface with the IRS to align GDIT capabilities and strengths to meet mission needs
Develop and leverage relationships with key decision makers and influencers
Strengthen alignment of GDIT organizational capabilities to client needs
Lead the execution of program teams to execute IT programs at the IRS
Develop and lead program teams to develop a collaborative team culture
Participate in all phases of the capture and growth life-cycle, providing the “voice of the customer”, including reviews and proposal and content development
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to obtain relevant IRS clearances
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, 20+ years of progressive Federal Civilian leadership experience
Candidates must have in-depth leadership experience supporting programs at the IRS
Candidate must have in-depth experience with both Cybersecurity operations and Cybersecurity Risk Management
Proven experience driving culture change and leading a dynamic mission-focused teams
Strong strategic development and implementation experience, directing large teams
Experience with federal proposal processes, delivery and execution
Proven aptitude for teaching, coaching and mentoring
Local to the DC metro area and ability to travel to customer sites, as needed, is required
DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers P/PM Senior Level 3 (FAC P/PM)
Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional (PMP)

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $106.25 - $143.75. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
