Our work depends on a Video Teleconferencing Engineer, joining our team to support the Department of Energy activities at various locations in the United States.

As an Asset Management Technician, supporting the Department of Energy, you will be trusted to work on complex projects and be responsible Providing technical, administrative, and operational management of a variety of development efforts and projects ranging from simple to complex.

Job Duties/Requirements

The Asset Management Technician will update processes to catalog existing assets, disposed of EOL assets and order replacements where necessary, referencing existing government processes and toolsets.  

•    work with federal management to update and drive a process

•    account for assets

•    dispose of assets

•    list assets for disposal

•    report assets inventoried

•    report assets disposed

•    participates in special projects as required

•    ability to work well with others and communicate with supervisors\Government Customers

•    computer literate

Your success will be measured through an accurate asset inventory and timely reporting of inventory and disposal information.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

•  Education: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or a related field.

•  Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience

•  Required Technical Skills:

•  Experience with Mobile Phone assets

•    Strong knowledge of asset management processes and procedures

•    Excellent inventory and cost-management skills

•    Experience with various licensing models, understanding of hardware contracts

•    Strong experience in ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow

•    Strong experience in asset scanning technologies and solutions

•    Experience in identifying and creating workflows

•    Submit to random drug screening

•    May require occasional travel

•    Asset Management Certification preferred

•   Security Clearance Level: Top Secret\DOE Q

Required Skills and Abilities:

•   Strong Customer Service

•  Preferred Skills: Experience with Sunflower Asset Management Systems a plus

•  Location: On Customer Site without the option for telework

•  US Citizenship Required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $69,264 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
