HOW A CRITICAL INCIDENT COORDINATOR (SENIOR) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
At GDIT, people are our differentiators. Supporting this federal government customer, you will be trusted to manage the relationship with the end user through final resolution, including periodic status. Ensures critical incident notifications are issued.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Actively monitors the status of critical incidents.
Coordinates after-action meetings to assess the response to critical incidents.
Establish and lead command posts when necessary.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
7+ years of experience:
Experience in managing critical incidents, providing technical support, or working in a cloud services environment
Familiarity with the use of software to track issues and customer interactions.
Communicating across business areas during incident coordination
Triaging incidents and determining the severity, deciding the best course of action after an incident strikes and delegating crucial tasks to the appropriate team members
Development of critical incident response plans
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems, ability to lead and motivation, ability to make sound decisions under pressure taking into account impact of the incident on end users and stakeholders.
MS Suite, SharePoint and Power BI
Security Clearance Level: Current Top Secret eligibility required for consideration and obtaining additional SCI eligibility is required to start and maintain employment on this program
Location: On Customer site in DC Metro area

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $104,179 - $140,949. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
