DNS Engineer

HOW A DNS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks
● Configure and maintain Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) solutions to ensure optimal performance and security.
● Plan, test, and execute changes to Infoblox DDI infrastructure to meet client requirements.
● Provide clear communication with regular updates/reports to the customer and management team.
● Experience working for or with local government, service providers, and/or enterprises customers.
● Maintain the network authentication configuration using technologies such as Cisco ISE
● Ability to troubleshoot network issues and failures and follow best practices and troubleshooting methodology to quickly assess current situations, find solutions, and implement changes
● Meet set service level agreements
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly
● Required Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail, Communication and problem solving
● Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
● US Citizenship Required
● Ability to work on call rotation as needed
● Work hours: 8 hours per day (Mon-Fri). Specific hours agreed upon between employee and supervisor

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
