Translation Coordinator

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Translation Coordinator, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Translation Coordinator  joining our team to be responsible for coordinating translation requirements for a multilingual internet-based program.

HOW A TRANSLATION COORDINATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Coordinates with the project Translation Manager to ensure translation needs and resources are aligned.

• Assists in recruiting and testing of prospective translators and makes recommendations on translator selection and retention.

• Evaluates translation quality feedback to determine if feedback is objective or preferential and recommends translation quality issue resolutions.

• Utilizing internet-based project-specific software applications, schedules translation and verification tasks and monitors progress to ensure contractual and program schedule and quality standards are met.

•  Resolves mid-process content adjustment issues.  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree is required in English, Journalism, or a related discipline; significant experience may be accepted in lieu 

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience 

CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain DoD SECRET clearance

Location: On Customer Site – Tampa, FL
