We are seeking a Developer capable of working with a software development team to provide enterprise system support.

HOW A SERVICENOW DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Create logical and functional software code within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Successful candidate must have experience developing software solutions within ServiceNow and possess a basic understanding of object orientated languages like Javascript, Java, and Python.

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    • Education: BS in Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
    • Experience: 10+ years
    • Required skills:
    • Proven experience as the lead technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.
    • Experience with ServiceNow development.
    • Experience developing web-based applications.
    • Experience with JavaScript or an equivalent language
    • Experience upgrading ServiceNow versions
    • Provide technical leadership and mentoring, perform peer code reviews, and ensure the ServiceNow team follows software development best-practices
    • Share ServiceNow best practices and be consultative throughout the technical design.
    • Utilize ServiceNow expertise to create and implement workflows into application
    • Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complete projects independently and within a team environment.
    • Familiar with creating and promoting update sets throughout SDLC
    • Working with customers and other stakeholders to define clear and acceptable requirements for design documentation.
    • Daily participation within an Agile/SCRUM team
    • Understanding of object orientated languages like Javascript, Java, and Python.
    • Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
    • Desired skills:
    • Experience working with API-based data sources
    • ServiceNow certification
    • Experience testing web-based applications – both manual and automated.
    • Experience with functional, regression and load/performance testing.
    • Experience with relational databases.
    • Location: Chantilly, VA - On Customer Site
    • US Citizenship Required

    Salary and Benefit Information

    The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
