Job Description

HOW A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
  • Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks
  • Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability
  • Coordinates the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed
  • Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks
  • Designs and builds hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks
  • Evaluates new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
  • May serve as a team or task lead

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Technical training/certs and 3+ years of experience
  • Secret Clearance
  • IAT II cert (Sec+) or DoD 8140 equivalent

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $44.14 - $50.76. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
