At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a F-35 MCM Engineer with Intune experience, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a F-35 MCM Engineer with Intune experience joining our Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program at Elgin AFB, FL.

The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract provides knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training.

HOW OUR MCM ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Administer and maintain server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting with a comprehensive knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure. Specialized expertise in Assured Compliance Assessment Solution(ACAS) implementation and management, prioritizing critical security patches based on threat intelligence and vulnerability assessments.

  • Install, configure, and utilize vulnerability assessment tools and remediation platforms to identify, prioritize and remediate security vulnerabilities across the enterprise environment.

  • Oversee the patch management lifecycle utilizing MCM and Intune, including the planning, testing, and deployment of updates for operating systems and third-party applications.

  • Create Advertisement/Collections/Packages/Applications within an MCM.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and end-users.

  • Provide reporting with Systems Management Center Server or MCM and the MCM database. 

  • Utilize PowerShell to generate custom reports for system status, compliance, and software deployments, ensuring timely insights into MCM operations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required)

  • Required Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance.

  • Required Experience: 5 Years of experience in system administration with a focus on patch management disciplines and protocols, including comprehensive knowledge of specific patch management tasks.

  • Experience with Intune

  • Required Certifications:

  • DoD Manual 8140.03 (441) Network Operations Specialist – Intermediate.

  • Intermediate level industry certification from one of the following: Microsoft, CompTIA, AWS, VMware, or relevant technology

  • Education: BS/BA MS/MA Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering Information Technology Management or a related technical or IT discipline. Allowable Substitution: 6 years of additional work experience without a Degree or 4 years of related experience with an AA/AS degree.

  • Work Location: Hybrid – 2 days onsite at Eglin AFB, FL and 3 days remote.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
