MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Chief Logistician/Functional Analyst, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) Special Operations Mission Training Center (SOMTC). You will play a crucial role in ensuring that contractor personnel exercise proper care and custody over the Government property for which they are responsible.
● Lead/Manage the entire life cycle of equipment fielded to the SOMTC including fielding, distribution, and inventory.
● Collaborate with Government personnel to conduct periodic inventories requested by the USASOC Property Book Officer (PBO) or the Government.
● Drive and maintain full property accountability by maintaining, stocking, and inventorying an office supply storage room. The Chief Logistician will coordinate with Government representatives to determine office supply requirements and will make order requests to restock office supply shortages.
● Utilize Government provided computer systems to maintain a record of supplies and items within the stockrooms, verify orders with supplies delivered, and use Government provided software to keep track of supply inventory.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your knowledge of and expertise in the Army Supply System along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Chief Logistician/Functional Analyst must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or a High School diploma with at least 4 years of experience in U.S. Army logistics.
● Experience: at least 4 years of related experience in U.S. Army logistics management
● Technical skills: Basic computer skills, Clerical skills such as typing, filing, and record keeping. Communication skills.
● Security clearance level: Secret clearance or an ability to be granted a Secret security clearance
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: Shall establish, organize, and coordinate the SOMTC supply system in accordance with U.S Army property accountability policies and regulations, to include mandatory sources of supply.

The likely salary range for this position is $51,850 - $70,150. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
