In this role, you will be tasked with responding to inquiries and providing guidance, information, and additional assistance as necessary, while serving in this critical support role.

Immediate Hiring – Work from Home as a Contact Center Agent

We are looking to hire agents to work from home for the GDIT National Assistance Center.

Due to ever-changing environmental factors related to this type of work, all candidates must have flexible work hours and be willing to work a variety of shifts. Training will be provided.

A Day in the Life of a Contact Center Agent:

  • Completing call guides, following scripts; gathering, entering and verifying required information
  • Adhering to established customer service and documentation standards within required time frames
  • Adhering to established levels of service
  • Adhering to contact center scheduling, ensuring telephone coverage during contact center hours of operation
  • Attending telephone skills and program information training sessions addressing policies, procedures and the handling of confidential information related to personal information

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; AND
  • 1 or more years of related customer service and/or contact center experience
  • Access to 10 Mbps of download speed and 1 Mbps of upload speed of dedicated internet bandwidth (Satellite provided Internet Service will not qualify)
  • Ability to work remotely (from the comfort of your own home) in a quiet work environment free from distraction
  • Experience working with fax machines, computer software, and telephone technology
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Ability to successfully complete GDIT pre-employment screening
  • US Citizenship
