General Dynamics takes $99M FAA tech migration contract

General Dynamics' IT services business has won a $99 million contract with the Federal Aviation Administration to work on that agency's "DVARS" system.

DVARS stands for Data, Visualization, Analysis and Reporting System. The system has both commercial offerings and customize software components to help the FAA with analysis capabilities to ensure the National Airspace System’s infrastructure remains safe and evolves, the company said.
