Transitioning from the college campus to the cleared workforce.

Are you interested in joining an exciting company with an impactful mission?

GDIT’s Emerging Talent Clearance Program is designed for high performing individuals who want to gain a broad exposure to IT in a cleared space.

Gaining on-the-job experience.

GDIT’s Emerging Talent Clearance Program allows you to enter the workforce as a cleared employee through one of three methods:

  • Directly into a program assignment based on desired work.
  • Experiencing various assignments, beginning with customer front-end, then a rotation or direct assignment thereafter (cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud computing, application development, network designing, information security, and other IT projects).
  • As an uncleared employee who works in an uncleared space while your clearance processes (based on job openings).

The Emerging Talent Clearance Program has allowed me to jump-start my career in the IT world by providing an opportunity to gain new technical skills while attaining my degree at the same time. This program allowed me cultivate skills in Database Configuration, Cloud Management, PowerShell scripting and Software Development. The pipeline program allowed me the access to determine a path for my career.

While waiting in the clearance process, I was able to participate on many development teams, delivering real software products to customers. The exposure to a fast-paced work environment, combined with legit development opportunities that the pipeline offers prepared me for a smooth transition into high-level cleared work.

I’m so glad that I stumbled upon the ETCP. My journey started at a campus career fair and progressed to an interview within a week. Once I was accepted into the program, I was confident that I would have a good job after graduating. Since starting at GDIT full-time, I’ve gained valuable experience on the software development team. Now that I am through the clearance process, I can utilize my degree as a CyberSecurity Analyst.
