Job Description

High school diploma and/or a technical vocational high school diploma; 2 years of experience

  • Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks including, but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, pulling cables and other activities in a helping or assisting mode.
  • May perform simple repairs on machinery or minor repairs to buildings.
  • Ability to use hand tools such as hammer, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Must be able to obtain all necessary badges (DBIDS and shipyard).
  • Able to work on and climb ladders, work in extreme temperature environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes up to 75 lbs.
  • Travel (within and outside of the continental United States) Maybe required for 20% of the time

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $12.55 - $20.84. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
