Job Description:
GDIT is looking for an IT Program Master Scheduler to manage and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the USCENTCOM CITS Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL.

Duties and Responsibilities: Serving as the Integrated Master Scheduler for the CITS program, the Master Scheduler will provide a resource loaded IMS that is integrated, logical, and network-based for the CITS program. Assist with developing the planning framework for the Program Management Office. Establish a monthly planning calendar to aid in the updating of the IMS. Develop tools evaluating impact of proposed schedule changes. Establish and maintain communication with stakeholders. Prepare event schedules and reports as required. Maintains schedules for each active task, all projects, site locations, and overall performance against the schedule, with a roll-up of the entire TO effort. Identifies the critical path at the project level. Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) as they relate to the tasks that fall within the scope of the contract.
 

Education and/or Certifications:
Required:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline with 5+ years of experience managing large and complex program schedules of similar size and scope

Desired:

- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

- Other industry recognized technical/business certifications (e.g. PMP, CAPM, etc.)
 

Required Skills:

- Manage complex project and resource schedules in a diverse and dynamic environment

- Ability to support the decomposition of IT projects into a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

- 5 - 7 years of integrated scheduling experience using Microsoft Project and Excel

- Work with multiple Project Managers in different groups to coordinate Project Life Cycles
- Develop Resource-Loaded schedules for multiple Major IT Projects

- Provide schedules and data to support contract management and administrative oversight to achieve the requirements of the program
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships
- Good interpersonal, analytical, and communication (written and verbal) skills

Desired Skills:
- Experience with USCENTCOM and familiarity with its mission

- Knowledge of USCENTCOM’s products and services, customer requirements, purpose and structure of required documentation, and end user’s level of understanding


Clearance and Travel Requirements:
- Active Secret required
- Less than 10% travel
