The primary function of the Mission Training Complex (MTC) Network Engineer is to plan, construct, and manage networks to ensure they are optimized and functioning as intended. The Network Engineer will perform as the overall communications architect and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for the MTC and will coordinate with outside agencies and III Corps MTC sites. The Network Engineer will create/establish communications architecture, coordinate communications plans, configure communications equipment, implement Information Assurance (IA) processes, and assist in installing equipment and circuitry in support of distributed exercises. The Network Engineer coordinates all aspects of the communications architecture and exercise support plans with communications planners at other simulation facilities, the MTC, NEC, and participating tactical units. Plans include distribution of data, voice, and VTC over both LAN and WAN in both classified and unclassified modes for simulations/stimulation networks: NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and tactical networks. The MTC Network Engineer will serve as the ISSO for the MTC and will lead all contractor efforts in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF).

The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $154,211, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
