Job Description

The Facility and Asset Manager will the main focal point for coordinating all activities ensuring the success of GDIT program operations for a mission critical customer. The security and quality of our work depends on a Facility and Asset Manager joining our team will be the focal point to manage and maintain a client program facility in Northern Virginia. This includes maintaining the facility’s readiness to perform all contract related services, administrative and management functions, hardware, software, and communication systems necessary to interface effectively and efficiently with the Department of State (DOS). Manage any site changes, installation of electrical outlets, terminal cabling, air conditioning or other equipment or conditions that may be necessary to ensure correct connection and usability of necessary peripherals and/or computers used in connection with the performance of contract work.

HOW A FACILITY AND ASSET MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Supports the PM in maintaining all aspects of the readiness and security of a contractor leased facility that serves as the primary place of performance for a secure government contract

  • Ensures the appropriate safeguarding and destruction capabilities for Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) information must be maintained in compliance with Department of State standards, policies and procedures

  • Ensures that access to the facility shall have appropriate controls such as (at a minimum) keyed dead bolt locks to control access during non-working hours in accordance with DOS policy and guidelines

  • Ensures computer peripherals and resources are used effectively. Coordinate the resolution of production-related problems.

  • Manage Department of State (DOS) Personal Identification Card Policy and Procedures for all employees performing under this contract who require frequent and continuing access to DOS facilities, or information systems

  • Manages the availability all the necessary computer resources, spares, data storage, peripherals, telecommunication and data communication equipment, and necessary supplies schedule, coordinate and arrange all logistical issues associated with carrying out the transferring of RPC equipment to other designated locations

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required:

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED + 10 years of related facility, asset management, and logistics experience OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Administration, Information Technology, Logistics or related Technical Discipline + 3 years of related facility, administrative and logistics experience

  • Excellent client facing and internal communications skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills

Desired:

  • Experience supporting the DOS and familiarity with DOS security requirements.

  • Rosslyn, VA.

Timeline:

  • This posting is contingent, expected to start in May of 2024.

Clearance:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. A Top Secret clearance may be required.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $97,967 - $132,543. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
