Job Description

Assists with routine technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures

Helps troubleshoot system hardware and software issues

Assist end users on the proper use of hardware and software

Assists with basic software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages

Assists with monitoring and tuning of systems to achieve optimum performance levels

Aids with ensuring workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions

Helps ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations

Assists with basic hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines

Helps to ensure that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $30.78 - $46.16. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
