AI/ML and Data Solutions Advisor

Our work depends on the AI/ML and Data Solutions Advisor joining our team to assist in designing innovative AI/ML solutions to meet the unique needs of our customers and develop internal advances in research and development investments for GDIT's Defense Division.
HOW AN AI/ML & DATA SOLUTIONS ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
● Support the full spectrum of capture from customer engagement and shaping to solutioning, to supporting organic program growth and implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions
● Interact with solution teams to identify optimal approaches, assessments, and technologies to meet customer mission AI/ML needs
● Partner with strategic alliance partners to solve difficult problems using best-of-breed AI/ML technologies
● Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
● Shape customer understanding of AI/ML mission enablement through tailored briefings, information exchanges, and conference participation
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intellgience, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or other STEM field (Master of Science preferred)
● Required Experience: 7+ years of related experience (2 year of experience can be supplemented for applicants holding a Master Degree)
● Required Technical Skills: Programming languages (Python, R, Java, C++, SQL, NoSQL); Data modeling and engineering (on-prem, cloud, hybrid); model development, testing, and validation; AI/ML Ops pipelining; AI privacy and security modeling; cloud-based AI/ML deployments
● Security Clearance Level: Minimum of SECRET required
● Required Skills and Abilities: Oral and written communication, coordination, problem solving, critical thinking, research, documentation/proposal, team inclusion, process-oriented approaches.
● Preferred Skills: Multi-cloud development experience (order of priority, AWS, Azure, GCP); Generative AI production implementation experience; edge AI/ML inference and deployment experience
● Location: 100% remote with occasional travel to customer sites, GDIT HQ, and conferences.
●Due to a need for a SECRET clearance - US Citizenship Required.

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $128,000 - $192,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
