GDIT Onboarding - New Hire Orientation

You are required to attend a GDIT Onboarding session. We offer 2 sessions (9 am EST and 2 pm EST). You will receive a welcome email with Day 1 Instructions from your Onboarding Partner with the Zoom details. You are to RSVP to one of the New Hire Onboarding sessions using the registration link below. Work with your manager on which session to attend. Our onboarding session introduces you to GDIT with access to important information for a success start with us.

Employment Eligibility Verification

By law, the I-9 Form must be completed by both you and your manager and/or GDIT designee within the first 3 business days of your start date. Follow the steps below to access the I-9 Form and complete Section 1.

You will receive an email from GDIT Onboarding (notifications@emptrust.com) with the subject line "Welcome to GDIT!" Please Complete Section 1 of Your I-9. Please complete section 1 by COB on your start date.

If you are a remote employee and will not be meeting with your GDIT manager or appointed designee, you will receive an email to complete Section 1 of your I-9 Form and set up an appointment at an approved remote site to complete Section 2. Please remember to have the appropriate documentation readily available.

Update to Mask Requirement in GDIT Facilities

The health and safety of our employees is a top priority for GDIT.

A mask is no longer required at GDIT facilities in counties where the “COVID-19 Community Level” is “Low” or “Medium.” However, a mask is still required at GDIT facilities in counties where the “COVID-19 Community Level” is “High,” regardless of vaccination status. At facilities where the “COVID-19 Community Level” is “High,” GDIT will post signs reminding employees of the requirement to wear a mask at all times while on-site. Community levels are available on the CDC COVID-19 county map.

Employees at all GDIT sites are advised to always carry a mask when coming to work should the guidance change, and any employee who prefers to wear a mask may continue to do so.
