GDIT’s Honor employee resource group exists to encourage, support, connect and honor individuals who serve, our veterans along with their family members and spouses. Honor fosters GDIT employees to connect with other colleagues in a meaningful way. It also provides invaluable support to our transitioning veterans.
Honor ERG Events
Bringing the military community together.
With various events and bi-weekly after-hours virtual chats, Honor provides members the opportunity to develop their career while giving back to the individuals that defend our country.
- GDIT Speaker Series - In observation of World Suicide Prevention Day, Honor shares resources with GDIT employees and veterans on mental health, well-being, and help lines for crisis intervention.
- Wreaths Across America - Honor supports National Wreaths Across America Day each December with wreath-laying ceremonies at locations across the country to honor our veterans and their families.
- USO - Honor supports GDIT Cares with USO Project Elf during the holiday season as well as USO’s Pack for Troops program, providing care packages for active duty military and their families

Across GDIT you’ll find employees who are proud to have been in the military including our most senior leaders. Our President, Amy Gilliland, served in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer, Congressional Affairs Liaison Officer and Public Affairs Officer.
